Entry to Thailand up to date information
The current situation 23/4/22
The Thailand Pass registration is open and accepting new applications for the Test and Go, Sandbox, and Quarantine Entry to Thailand programs.(These are for Travelers wanting to Enter Thailand before the 1st May 2022 Only.
The entry to Thailand RT-PCR COVID TEST is still required for all travelers.
Vaccinated travelers are required to stay for 1 day in a SHA+ Hotel
Unvaccinated are required to stay for 5 days in a SHA + Hotel

The New Rules of Entry to Thailand after the 1st of May 2022
The minimum coverage for Travel Insurance will be 10,000 USD medical coverage.
The mandatory RT-PCR COVID Test upon arrival and the SHA+ Hotel booking for Vaccinated travelers will no longer be required .
For unvaccinated travelers, a mandatory hotel booking of 5 nights and RT PCR test on Day 5 is still required.
Please Note (Good News for Unvaccinated Travelers)
To avoid the mandatory quarantine and Day 5 test, Unvaccinated Travelers who upload proof of a negative RT-PCR test within 72 hours of traveling to Thailand via the Thailand Pass Registration system will be Exempt from quarantine and the 5-day RT-PCR Test and are free to travel around Thailand.

Thailand Pass Still Required
Thailand Pass application will still be required to verify your insurance and vaccination status Thailand Pass are saying the processing times will be quicker.
For travelers planning to enter Thailand after the 1st May the Thailand Pass is currently suspended You can apply on April 29, 2022.
The Thailand Pass website is stating it will accept new applications under new entry measures on 29 April 2022 onwards This will start at 1 minute after midnight on the 29th of April Thai time.
If you are Unvaccinated allow time to enter your negative RT-PCR Test results.
