How We Help
What we do for our clients when you hire Lawyers for Expats Thailand to register your company — start to finish.

How We Help
Four steps, one point of contact throughout.
WhatsApp, email or a call. We ask about your business, not just your budget, before we recommend anything.
Thai limited company, BOI, Treaty of Amity, Foreign Business Licence — we say plainly which route applies to you, and which don't, before you spend a baht.
Name reservation, MOA, statutory meeting, DBD filing, bank account, work permits — we run all of it. You sign what needs signing.
Work permit renewals, DBD filings and corporate compliance — the same legal team, not a handover to a stranger. Your accounting, audit and tax filings sit with your accountant; we keep the two sides aligned.
How much of this can be done remotely, before I'm in Thailand?
Most of it. Structuring advice, document preparation and much of the registration process can begin remotely. Some steps — opening a corporate bank account, signing certain documents — currently require your presence in Thailand.
What We Do For Our Clients
"We register your company" covers a lot of ground. Here's the actual scope of what our team does on your file.
Memorandum of Association, articles of association, shareholder resolutions and statutory meeting minutes — drafted correctly the first time, in English and Thai.
We deal with the Department of Business Development registrar directly — submissions, follow-up queries and corrections — so you're not learning Thai bureaucratic process from scratch.
Will I deal with the Department of Business Development myself?
No. We liaise with the DBD directly on your behalf — filing, follow-up, and any queries they raise. You provide documents and instructions; we handle the registrar relationship.
We prepare the document set Thai banks require for a foreign-shareholder company and accompany you through account opening, which is often the single slowest step.
For you and any foreign staff, once the company meets the capital and Thai-employee-ratio requirements — planned before registration, not discovered after.
Work permit renewals, DBD filings and statutory corporate deadlines tracked and actioned on your behalf, so nothing lapses quietly in year two. We flag the audit and tax-return deadlines your accountant needs to meet and coordinate with them.
Do you handle what comes after registration — tax, compliance, work permits?
The legal and corporate side, yes. Work permit renewals, DBD filings, statutory meeting and record-keeping compliance, and registering any corporate changes — that is our ongoing role. Your annual audit, VAT returns and tax filings are handled by an accountant, not a law firm; we coordinate with your accountant, or one you appoint, so the legal and accounting sides stay aligned.
Our Commitment To You
We have never offered a nominee shareholder arrangement and never will. If another firm already has, we'll tell you plainly what that exposes you to, and how to fix it lawfully.
What if a lawyer or agent already told me to use a nominee shareholder?
Stop, and talk to us before you proceed. Nominee arrangements are illegal under the Foreign Business Act, and firms that suggest them are not acting in your interest. We will not offer that structure, and we can advise you on lawful alternatives.
Our fee and government charges are shown separately, agreed before we start. No surprise invoices once the company already exists and you have no easy way out.
If BOI won't work for your business, or a structure you've asked for isn't lawful, we say so before you commit — not after you've paid for an application we knew wouldn't succeed.
What if my business doesn't qualify for BOI promotion?
We tell you. Not every business qualifies, and we won't run an application we don't believe will succeed just to bill for it. If BOI isn't right for you, we'll say so and recommend the structure that actually is.
You have a direct line to the person actually handling your file throughout registration and afterward — not a rotating queue of case handlers.
Who You'll Work With

Managing Director & Lead Barrister
Leads the legal team handling your company's structuring and registration, and is personally responsible for the advice you receive on which structure lawfully fits your business.

General Manager of Foreign Affairs
Your point of contact throughout — the bridge between you and the legal team, making sure you understand every step in plain English.
Will the same lawyer handle my case from start to finish?
Yes. You have one point of contact throughout registration, and the same firm handles your ongoing compliance afterward — you are not passed between people.
